Ronald Edward Lyon, 55, Independence, MO passed away October 9, 2007 at home. Visitation will be held 6-7:30 PM, Thursday Oct. 11, 2007 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO. Military graveside services will be held 11 AM, Friday, Oct 12 at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, MO.
Ronald was born January 4, 1952 in Kansas City, MO. He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Ronald was a heavy equiptment operator of Kissick Construction. He was preceded in death by his parents, George & Mildred Lyon. Survivors include: wife of 34 years, Mary Lyon; brother & sister in law, Russel & Helen Lyon, Gladstone, MO; sisters & brothers in law, Sandra & Jim Duncan, Higginsville, MO, Anita & Ben Eaton, Independence, MO; sister, Pam Jones, Kansas City, MO; son & daughter in law, Daniel & Victoria Lyon, Independence, MO; step son, David Freeman, Independence, MO; step daughters, Debby Webster, St. Joseph, MO, Angel & husband, Mike Berry, Springfield, MO; 8 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
