Janice Rose, age 72, died October 14th, 2007, (Ironically her husband?s birthday) at 5:45a.m.
She was born August 19th, 1935 in Kansas City, MO the daughter of Leslie Ray and Rosa Digleman Dellinger Kurtz. On March 10th 1956 she was married to William G. Rose, who died February 22nd, 1992. Mrs. Rose received her Bachelor?s Degree in teaching, and her Masters Degree in Instruction and Curriculum from Central Missouri State University. She taught two years in Kansas City, Missouri, two years in Oak Grove, and 26 years in Sedalia, Missouri, four of those years at Hubbard and 22 years at Washington Elementary. She retired in 1995. She enjoyed reading and working crossword puzzles. Survivors include two daughters; Dana Lynn Rose of Wray, Colorado and Kelly Anne Rose of 109 N. Keene St. Apt 220, Columbia, MO 65201 a son William Scott Rose his wife Stacie and her two grandsons Alex and Chris of Weston, MO. She is also survived by two sisters; Annette Upp and her husband Richard of Downingtown, PA and Mary Lou Nolte of Kansas City, Missouri. The body will be cremated and there will be no services. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Boys and Girls Club of Sedalia, MO or the charity of the donor?s choice.
