Harry E. Lowe

Harry Eugene Lowe, 61, of Columbia passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at University Hospital due to a head injury from a fall at his home. Private family services will be held. He was born August 12, 1945 to James H.E. and Mary Susan (McBaine) Lowe. Harry married Rita Orcutt on March 6, 1966 and she preceded him in death. Harry attended Columbia Public Schools and worked in construction work doing remodeling, roofing, and siding in Columbia and several Missouri towns. He loved to fish, play pool and compete in dart competitions. Harry is survived by his daughter Yessa Rene Lowe of Palm Bay, FL, two sisters, Dollie M. Gerken of Joplin and Mary L. Biddle of Columbia, two brothers, Joseph T. Lowe of Brea, CA and Richard G. Lowe of Columbia, two grandchildren, Taylor of Columbia and Daniel of Palm Bay, FL as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Harry is also preceded in death by his parents, one son Noak, two brothers Edmund and James and two sisters, Margaret Lowe and Mildred E. Miner.
